As we turn the calendar to February (already?!) there is so much to be excited about in the Bay Area sports world. The 49ers will be getting their long-awaited rematch with the Kansas City Chiefs in their quest for their sixth Lombardi Trophy! The Warriors season is in full swing, and Steph and Co. are looking to figure out how to get back into the playoff hunt. And just about when the hangover wears off from celebrating the Niners beating the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, Giants pitchers and catchers report to Spring Training on February 15th!
What better way to get ready for another season of Giants baseball then to start with the FanFest at Oracle Park? The new formatted FanFest ends its four date tour around northern California on March 9th in America’s most beautiful ballpark. While this years FanFest has a little different format since the current players will be getting ready for the season in Arizona by then – the reimagined Fanfest will provide fans with access to often restricted ballpark locations, including the field, clubhouse, broadcast booth and dugout. Meet-and-greets and autograph opportunities with Giants alumni and Lou Seal and photo opportunities with the trophies will also be available. The Giants Spring Training game in Scottsdale will be broadcast on the scoreboard during the event. Fans in San Francisco will be able to interact with players in Scottsdale, using new technology.
