You’re Bakin’; We’re Chillin’

It’s hot.  That’s a common phrase in the summertime, but it is seriously hot.  Temperatures in the 90’s are one thing, but the country is currently experiencing multiple days in the 100’s.  That’s hot.  Especially when the nights don’t cool down.

Is there a remedy?  YES!  Come to San Francisco.  The locals are complaining about the “heat” because temperatures have reached the high 70’s!  In the daytime.  San Francisco’s forecast for the coming days is high 50’s to low 70’s.  This naturally cool City has beautiful beaches to enjoy.  Indulge in water activities like kayaking and wind surfing.  Engage with the City’s amazing parks and urban hikes that make you feel like you’re far from a city.  Best of all, you won’t be sweating in triple digit weather to enjoy these parks and hikes.  Nature’s not your thing?  No problem.  San Francisco has theater and museums and music of all sorts.  Nourish your body and soul with the most mouth-watering and eclectic variety of foods and drinks imaginable.  And don’t forget baseball.  The Giants’ exciting season is in full swing along with a summer of neighborhood fairs and festivals.

If you didn’t know, this beautiful City by the Bay is only 49 square miles.  This means that everything in this naturally air-conditioned City is easily accessible once you get here.  And most importantly, Hotel VIA is the place to stay to enjoy it all.  Our South Beach neighborhood is on the Bay, our hotel is across the street from Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, our neighborhood is clean, safe and loaded with excellent restaurants.  All of the beauty and excitement of San Francisco is easily accessible from Hotel VIA.  And at the end of each cool and adventurous day, come up to our beautiful rooftop for cocktails and bites and gorgeous views.  Oh…and don’t forget to bring your jacket no matter how hot it is when you leave your home!
